Dr. Erik Rebbe earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) from the University of Miami in 2016 where he graduated with honors. Since graduating, Dr. Rebbe has continued to improve his knowledge and skill set for the optimal treatment of athletes and all patients by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as entering in to the Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy program through the Ola Grimsby Institute. Dr. Rebbe is also an LSVT Certified clinician and has experience treating neurological patients including Parkinson, CVA, and MS.
Prior to joining USA Sports Therapy, Dr. Rebbe practiced in an orthopedic, sports-based, outpatient clinic in Aventura, Florida. Dr. Rebbe has experience treating pathologies ranging from neck and back pain, common sports injuries including ACL reconstruction and RTC pathologies to neurological disorders and pre and post-operative rehabilitation. Dr. Rebbe has experience working with high school, college and professional athletes to the weekend warrior, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
Dr. Rebbe utilizes advanced manual techniques, extensive knowledge of therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education to implement an individualized plan of care for maximal benefit to each patient. He incorporates various soft tissue techniques including cupping, IASTM, K-tape, and joint mobilizations to correct movement patterns and return his patients to their prior level of function and mobility. Dr. Rebbe ensures his patients are well educated on their diagnosis, have an individualized plan of care, and feel confident in their daily activities. He is the director of the Fisher Island practice.
